Our Work
Births Count International
Births Count International is the global operations arm of Births Count, committed to improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes in under-resourced regions, particularly across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Our mission is to empower women, families, and communities by addressing the root causes of preventable maternal and newborn deaths through local capacity building, provision of essential supplies, and strategic, community-based partnerships.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—especially Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being and Goal 5: Gender Equality—we focus on expanding access to respectful, quality care delivered by midwives, community health workers, and grassroots organizations.
